"Marcie is a true creative. She has an incredible eye to re-envision and design a space into one that invites festivity, brings warmth and radiates beauty. People are still talking about my son's Baptismal party that Marcie helped put together over a year ago. Marcie is so much more than an event coordinator; she is an artist who has an understanding of people and a gift for hospitality. She is also wonderfully relaxed, yet confident and easy to work with. She came to our home and hung this beautiful greenery that created such a magical, whimsical feel for everyone who entered the party. Her eye for detail and beauty was evident in the flower arranging, setting the table and rearranging the space so people flowed easily added to the atmosphere of celebration. She even baked two of the best desserts I've ever tasted (literally) that were as beautiful as they were delicious. The plates, cups and silverware she chose were perfect for the occasion and made people feel like they were enjoying something unusually special; which the party truly was, thanks to Marcie."

"Marcie has been a creative inspiration ever since I first encountered one of her installations. It was an autumnal foraged leaf installation cascading from a chandelier for a Thanksgiving celebration in England 7 years ago. Since then I have been privileged to become a friend and get to know more of the heart beneath her creative intelligence. Because Marcie longs to make the world a more beautiful & hospitable space, she puts her tenderness, acute attention to detail, stunning aesthetic taste and personal engagement toward creating spaces and events that transform and humanize us. For Marcie this is not just part of event designing, but a way of life. I hired her last year to make a large, plain, concrete floored church basement into a space suitable for a graduate school Christmas Gala--this was no simple task! Yet compliments still pour in from those who experienced that enchanting night. With communal tables laced with stargazer lights, etched french glass cloches, floral arrangements, and ceiling to floor installation piece, it was utterly transformed into a warm and inspiring space for feasting and celebration. We all left with a deep sense of joy, meaning & belonging."
